Why Go
Are you looking to disconnect from your screens, socialize, and get outside? Do you like board games? Then you’ll love playing the world’s largest version of Monopoly (according to the Guinness Book of World Records).
To play the game, people are the tokens, complete with hats. There are six tokens, and two people may play per token, but larger groups can be accommodated by substituting players in and out. You roll jumbo-sized dice and then walk, run, or skip around the board. Your rental fee includes staff to manage the logistics so your group can focus on having fun. Official Monopoly rules apply.
If you’re a family with kids, you can add a visit to the Children’s Discovery Museum. The museum is located just a few minutes walk from the Monopoly board. Parents might be surprised to find that the museum provides plenty of fun for them too.
If your group includes people who are young-at-heart but are not actually children, then the lively scene of bars and restaurants of nearby Santana Row might be more interesting than the Discovery museum. Book your lodging nearby or within walking distance for maximum fun.
